Help us change the face of Opera.
We began as a conversation between two opera lovers/performers (conductor Peter Szep and tenor Noah Lethbridge) in 2011. With the mission of educating the public about the work of smaller opera companies both in the United States and abroad, they began creating monthly episodes featuring different organizations, artists, or ideas.
Since that first episode, two new hosts have joined (mezzo-soprano Brooke Larimer and stage director Walker Lewis), and the podcast has recorded dozens of episodes on a wide variety of topics and interviewed important composers, librettists, producers, and performers from all across the opera industry.
The total cost for producing the season is $24,000. While advertising covers some of the costs associated with production, we are dependent on the support of donors like you to continue to provide a valuable and entertaining service to the opera community with humor and honesty.
